Stop in to find the latest blockbuster!

Beginning September 1st, more DVDs of popular films will be available within all of our libraries. As part of our cost saving measures to do more with less staff and money, Douglas County Libraries has changed the current process on feature and/or popular movies (also known as Your Lucky Day). This new process allows the library to increase the circulation of popular items, while decreasing the amount of staff time needed to maintain our shelves and holds materials. Please note the new change:

• Patrons are limited to 3 popular DVDs per library card.
• Patrons can still place holds on these popular items. However, holds will not be fulfilled for the first three months after the release date, as all copies will be available in our libraries on a first come, first served basis.
