Page to Stage Temporarily Suspended for 2009
As Douglas County Libraries tightens its belt and plans new strategic directions, the Page to Stage children's theatre tour to schools and libraries is temporarily suspended for 2009.
The tour will return in 2010, thanks to a new partnership with the Performing Arts Academy at the Castle View High School (Douglas County School District).
More than 7,500 children and their families enjoyed a performance of the Page to Stage production of Martha Stories last year. The goal of Douglas County Libraries Page to Stage Productions is to promote reading and further arts-in-education through theatrical outreach.
